Park your music where libraries shop.
A listing is one brief, one deadline, one shot. The TAXI Garage is a catalog that music libraries browse all year.
Park a track once and it keeps working for you.
Library owners are constantly browsing for music. The Garage is the best way to get yours licensed.
A listing is a moment. The Garage is a place.
You will still pitch to listings. The Garage adds something listings cannot: a standing catalog where library owners come looking, on their schedule, for exactly the kind of track you already have.
Submitting to a listing
- You answer one brief from one company.
- Your track is heard once, for that pitch.
- If the brief passes, so does the chance.
Parking a track in the Garage
- Your track sits in a catalog that libraries search by genre, mood and keyword.
- Library owners play it in place, heart it, and drop it into playlists for the briefs they are working on.
- Any of them can ask for it, this week or next spring. TAXI introduces you.
The outcome is discovery.
A track you parked in March can be the one a library needs in September, without you pitching it again.
Park what you have already made.
The songs and instrumentals you have uploaded to TAXI are already there. Tick the ones you want library owners to find, say how you would license each one, and you are parked.
- Songs and instrumentals, side by side
- Exclusive, non-exclusive, or either: your licensing preference travels with each track
- Park a few now, more later
See your music waiting to be found.
My Garage Tracks is your lot. Every parked track, its genres and moods, and the moment a library asks about one, it shows up here as an open request.
- Open requests appear on the track the moment a library asks
- Still available in one click
- Take a track out when it finds a home elsewhere
Library owners browse the Garage. Your tracks are what they find.
They come with a brief in hand and search by genre, mood and keyword. They play tracks in place, heart the ones they like, and build playlists. Every parked track of yours is in that catalog, every day, waiting to be the one.
When a library wants your track, TAXI connects you.
A request lands on your track in My Garage. TAXI makes the introduction, and the conversation is yours. That is a placement that found you.
- The library has your details within days, no chasing
- Exclusive or non-exclusive, on your terms
- Mark the deal closed in one click
Questions members ask
- Is this instead of listings?
- No. Keep pitching to listings for specific briefs. The Garage is where your catalog waits for the briefs you never hear about.
- Who sees my music?
- Music libraries invited by TAXI. They browse by genre, mood and keyword, play tracks in place, and save the ones they like.
- Who sees my name?
- Nobody in the catalog. A library sees the track, its genres, moods and licensing preference. TAXI shares your contact details only when it introduces you.
- What does exclusive or non-exclusive mean?
- It is your licensing preference for that track. Exclusive means one library can hold it. Non-exclusive means several can license it. You can offer either and decide when a library calls.
- Does TAXI take a cut of deals?
- No. The introduction is the service. The deal is between you and the library.
- How long does a track stay parked?
- As long as it is available. Take it out any time from My Garage Tracks, or when it is signed exclusively.
